Welcome to Wushu Adventures!

Hi there!

My name is Mark.  I love wushu, traveling around the world, and meeting lots of great folks like you.

Having lived in China for 8 years, I get a lot of questions about what it takes to train wushu in China, so part of this website is dedicated to helping you understand your options for China training.  In fact, I’ve created the largest directory of Chinese wushu training facilities ever compiled, which you can check out here.

Of course, if you’re planning on going to China then you will want to have help with aspects of traveling, so another part of this website is dedicated to traveling with less.  I’m a minimalist and I’m always looking for way to travel the world in just one bag.  So, for those of you who love hitting the open road you’ll find some helpful information on that topic.

And finally, you will find it beneficial to learn Chinese if you want to go to China.  So you’ll also find resources and information related to the study of languages and exploration of cultural arts.  I love giving myself language learning challenges and I post them up on this website to hold myself accountable and share anything I learn with all of you.

I encourage you to sign up for my newsletter to get the latest updates and information from the website.  As a special gift, I will provide you with a free video tutorial on how to get the elusive (and highly coveted) head to toe stretch in just 100 days.  Just use this form to sign up:

If you have any questions or would love to chat about wushu, traveling, language or the like, then hit me up at wushuadventures@gmail.com and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
